Rs. 4,500 was distributed among A, B and C. From the amount that they received A, B and C spent Rs.110, Rs.120 and Rs.140 respectively. The amounts then left with A and B were in the ratio 3:4 and with B and C were in the ratio 5:6. What amount did B received?

- A:B:C are in the ratio of 15:20:24 [i.e. amounts left ]
The remaining amount =4500-(110+120+140)=4130
Then we have,
15x+20x+24x=4130
=>59x=4130
=>x=70
So,the amounts left with A,B,C are 1050,1400 & 1680( 15*70,20*70,24*70)
