Maths Puzzle
A can print 50 papers in 10 hours.Both A and B together can print 70 papers in 10 hours.In how many hours B alone can print 26 papers?
Read Solution (Total 4)
-
- 50/10 + x = 70/10,
that is A can print 5 papers in 1 hr and A and B can print in 7 papers in 1hr..
then x=20/10
which implies x i.e, B can print 2 papers in 1 hr..
hence,
if 1 hr - 2 papers, then
for 26 papers it is 26/2 = 13 hrs
Ans.13 hrs - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(5) No(0)
- A -> 50 in 10 hrs -> 5 in 1hr
A+B -> similarly, 7 in 1hr
therefore B prints 7-5=2 in 1 hr
for 26 papers -> 26/2 = 13 hrs - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(3) No(0)
