  and, 0.15x + 0.20y=3.80
  solving this, we get the no. of pears, i.e. , y=13.

  let no of pears = P
  -> no of apples = 21 - P
  given that ,
  cost of 1 apple = $0.15
  cost of 1 pear = $0.20
  
  => (21-P)*0.15 + P * 0.20 = 3.80
  => 3.15 - 0.15P + 0.20*P = 3.80
  => 0.05P = 3.80 - 3.15
  => 0.05P = 0.65
  => 5P = 65
  => P = 13 ans
