Given a fleet of 50 trucks, each with a full fuel tank and a range of 100 miles, how far can you deliver a payload? You can transfer the payload from truck to truck, and you can transfer fuel from truck to truck. Assume all the payload can fit in one truck.

50 trucks can cover a maximum of 100/50 + 100/49 + 100/48 + ...+100/2 +100/1 = 449.92 miles
First of all , 50 trucks will cover a distance of 2 miles.
All trucks are left with fuel which can take them to 98 miles further.
From one truck, fill each of other 49 trucks with fuel reqd for 2 miles distance.
so now one truck is empty ( without fuel and other 49 tank with full tank of 100 miles range).
These 49 trucks will move further and cover 100/49 miles.
All 49 trucks are left with fuel which can take them to 100-100/49 = 4800/49 miles further.
From one truck, fill each of other 48 trucks with fuel reqd for 100/49 miles distance.
so now one more truck is empty ( without fuel) and other 48 tank with full tank of 100 miles range).
