- answer 1
1minute=1+4=5
1 minute=1+4=5step
2 minute=5+4=9step
3 minute=9+4=3step
4 minute=3+4=7step
5 minute=7+4=1step the same process is repeated 12*5 times hence at 60th minute fly would be at 1st step. - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(32) No(1)
- total 60 mins and its takes 4 length in jump
which is 60/4 jumps = 15
the jumping positions are
1 5 9 3 7
1 5 9 3 7
1 5 9 3 7
after 15th jump it will be in 1st position - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(10) No(1)
- 1 min-5th stone
2 min-9th stone
3 min-3rd stone
4 min-7th stone
5 min-1st stone
so for every 5 min it goes to 1 st stone.....so as 60 is multiple of 5 its goes to 1 st stone at 60th min - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(8) No(0)
- formula =(intial position + (no.of mins* no.of steps))% (total no.of stones)
so.. (1+ (4*60))%10=1
ans= 1 st stone - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(5) No(0)
