If all 5000 were men, increase in population would have been 500.
If all 5000 were women, increase in population would have been 750.
Actual increase in population =750

so number of males = 5000*3/5 = 3000

consider that 3000 10% is 300 and 2000 15 % is 300 so we get the answer as 600. simple reverse engineering.
