- for making max of fg(ie 2 digit number)and a,b,c,d,e to be distinct... we take a,b,c,d,e = 9,8,7,6,5 respectively. On adding this we get 5 as the unit digit of the sum... Hence 5 is the answer.

- fg is a two digit no.
for fg to hav thwe max possile value the value of g should b 5...
we can assume diff values for a,b,c,d,e as 9,8,7,6,5
on adding thm u l b getting 35...hence 5 is the answer - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(1)
