Q. What is the next number of the following sequence
2,2,12,12,30,30,?,?

• 1st term = 2 = 1^2 +1
  2nd term = 2 = 2^2 -2
  3rd term = 12 = 3^2 +3
  4th term = 12 = 4^2 -4
  5th term = 30 = 5^2 +5
  6th term = 30 = 6^2 -6
  So,
  7th term = 7^2 +7 = 56
  8th term = 8^2 -8 = 56
  
  So, next two terms will be : 56,56 .

  third solution is:-
  add 0 and then add multiples values of 10, 18, 26 iincreamenting them by 8 respectively. i.e.
  2+0=2
  2+10=12
  12+0=12
  12+18=30
  30+0=30
  30+26=56
  56+0=56
  and so on.
