A triangle can be formed having side lengths 4,5,& 8. It is impossible, however, to construct a triangle with sidelengths 4,5 & 10. Using the side lengths 2,3,5,7 & 11, howmany different triangles with exactly 2 equal sides can be formed? The area of a triangle is 250 in^2. Find the lengths of its legs if one leg is 5 inches longer than the other.

i know area is 1/2bh. let x=shorter leg and x+5=longer leg so i know area=1/2*x*x+5=250 i need to solve for x.
