three farmer paid rs 1000 for small pastur. one farmer gazed his 9 mules, another his 12 cows for twice and last man put in sowe goats for 2.5 times as the second man's cow and paid half the cost of the pasture.
can u find out how many goat did the last man have,if 6 cows eat as much as 4 mules,and 10 goat as muchas 3 cows?

• third farmer paid rs500
  first and second farmers paid rs500 for 9 mules and 24 cows(as 12 cows eat twice 9 mules)
  given 6cows=4mules and 6 cows = 20 goats
  now 9mules =45 goats and 24 cows = 80 goats total 125 goats for 500rs
  divide 125 goats or 500rs in 2 and half parts ie 50,50,25 or 200,200,100
  now goats of third farmer = 50 goats as eaten two and half time and per goat rs4
  first farmer = 9 mules = 45 * 4=180
  second farmer = 24 cows= 80*4=320

  >>80 goats = 12 cows - 2 times....(i)
  Similarly, 6 cows = 20 goats = 4 mules-1 time

  Adding (i)+(ii), we get 9 mules-1 time + 12 cows-2 times = 125 goats-1 time

  By the problem, 125 goats-1 time = Rs 500
  1 goat-1 time = 500/125 = Rs 4.......(iii)

  Now, according to 2nd condition, x goats - 2.5times = Rs. 500
  x goats - 1 time = 500/2.5 = Rs 200
  1 goat - 1 time = Rs 200/x...........(iv)

  Equating (iii) & (iv), we get 200/x = 4 or, x = 50
  Thus the man had 50 goats.
