n=3(no. of years)

now after 3 years,the value will be = 40,000*(3/4)*(3/4)*(3/4)=16875

40,000*3/4=30000,so in the end of 1st year the value =(40000-30000)=10000
in 2dn year 10000*3/4=7500,so in the end of 2nd yr the value=(10000-7500)=2500
in 3rd yr, 2500*3/4=1875,so in the end of 3rd yr the value=(2500-1875)=625 ans.
