- You have to put just 50rs.
Put 50rs and push the button for Random. There are only 2
possibilities. It will give either Tea or Coffee.
? If it gives Tea, then the button named Random is for Tea.
The button named Coffee is for Random selection. And the
button named Tea is for Coffee.
? If it gives Coffee, then the button named Random is for
Coffee. The button named Tea is for Random selection. And
the button named Coffee is for Tea.
Thus, you can make out which button is for what by putting
just 50rs and pressing Random selection first. - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(29) No(6)
- The answer would be Rs 50 since a single press of the Random button would determine the correct labeling.
Here's the reasoning. Press the Random button. Since all buttons are mislabeled, whatever the Random button produces must be that drinks button (e.g. if tea, label it Tea, otherwise label it Coffee). Now, since the buttons were mislabled, you need only switch the remaining two buttons labels

- I think the ans will be 150.
It cannot be determined as the random button will be difficult to predict. - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(3) No(13)

- Tea Coffee Random
Coffee Random Tea
50 + 50 = 100
1st we spent Rs. 50 then we determine only one that is coffee
2nd we spent Rs. 50 then we determine other two of the solutions is Random & Tea
So the answer is 50 + 50 = 100 Rupees - 8 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(0)
- answer is 50 because when we spend 50 rupees we find let suppose tea which name is coffee
now we have two buttons name -random and tea
now since we know tea can not present and also random button can not right clearly in random coffee will present and in tea ,random . so minimum price is 50 - 4 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
