- let a,b,c,d,e be the five exams
(a+b+c+d+e)/5=65
a+b+c+d+e=325
first 3 exams avg is (a+b+c)/3=60
a+b+c=180
d+e=325-180=145
avg of last 4 exams is (b+c+d+e)/4=70
b+c+d+e=280
a=325-280=45
avg of first and last two exams are(a+d+e)/3=(45+145)/3=(190)/3=63.33

- Let the marks scored in five exams be a,b,c,d,e.
A/Q , (a+b+c)/3=60
(b+c+d+e)/4=70
(a+b+c+d+e)/5=65
on solving we get
a=45,d+e=145
So,( a+d+e)/3 =63.3 Ans - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(6) No(0)

- Given
e1+e2+e3=180
e2+e3+e4+e5=280
e1+e2+e3+e4+e5=325
what is (e1+e4+e5)/3=?
by solving above equations 2 and 3 we can get e1 as 45
and from 1 and 3 we can get e4+e5 as 145
by taking avg of e1,e4,e5 we can get 63.3

- (avg of last 4 - avg of first 3)/1 + (avg of all 5 - avg of first 3)/2
= ((60*30)-(70*4))/1 +((65*5)-(60*30))/2 = 172.5 - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(9)
