Two trains starting at same time, one from Bangalore to Mysore and other in opposite
direction arrive at their destination 1 hr and 4 hours respectively after passing each other.
How nuch faster is one train from other?

• if two trains or bodies start at the same time from points A and B towards each other and after crossing they take a and b sec in reaching B and A respectively,then A speed : B speed =undr root b: undr root a.
  so..ans wil be two times faster...

• If two trains (or bodies ) start at the station at the same time from points A and B towards respectively each other and after crossing they take a sec and b sec in reaching B and A respectively.. so (A's speed): (B's speed)= under root b : under root a.. So the answer will be under root 4: under root 1 .. = 2:1, therefore two times faster than the other train.
