I have the following problem; Which of the ordered pairs (3,1), (0, -4), (-4,0),(-3,-7) are solutions to the equation x-y=4? My answer is (0,-4) and (-3,-7), is this correct?

I tried to work out this problem: 2x^4+10x+8=0 and i got that x=+ or - i and x=+ or - 2i.
