If I walk at 3 Km/hr i miss the train by 2 min. If however i walk at 4km/hr i reach 2min before the arrival of the train. How far do i walk to reach the station?

  dis=4/5km

  ((3*4)/1}4/60 [we have to put all in same units]

  3*5/18=5/6 and 4*5/18=10/9
  difference in time is 4min so time=distance/speed take distance=x m
  6*x/5-9*x/10=4 so x=40/3m

  thus the person reaches in x+2 = 16min
  16min=16/60 hr
  hence distance =3*(16/60)
