TCS Company Numerical Ability Permutation and Combination

A lady had fine gloves and hats. 25 blue, 7 red and 9grey. She had to select a pair among them. But there was no light so she had to select in darkness the correct pair with a glove and a hat. Therefore how many combinations of same color she can select?

f the question was to select at-least 1 pair of each color.
Assume that in the first 2 picks she got pair of blue, in the next 2 picks she got pair of red,in the next 2,pair of gray.
So in total 6 picks she got all the 3 pairs.
But she is in darkness and is not sure what she picked is enough.So to be 100% sure, she considers herself as she picks all blue first(worst case)
.Then all the gray.
So in the next 2 picks she is sure that she got atleast pair of red.
So a total of 25+9+2=36 picks [ans].
