value at da end of 1st yr is 40000-40000*3/4=10000
10000 is da nw value of 2nd yr
so at da end of 2nd yr value will be 10000-10000*3/4=2500
same at the end of 3rd yr value will be 2500-2500*3/4=625 ans

40,000*3/4=30000
40000-30000=10000
nw amount is 10000 at starting 2nd yr ;nw 10000*3/4=7500
at end 10000-7500=2500;3rd yr 2500*3/4=1875 so end of 3rd yr it wil be 2500-1875=625 ans=625

The value of a product at the end of a year, declines to 3/4 of the value at the beginning of the year. If the starting value of product was Rs 40,000. Then what is the value of the product at the end of 3rd year.
