  => (x^2-50x+600) = 0
  
  => (x-20)(x-30) = 0
  => x = 20,30

  1/a+ 1/b = 1/12
  a+b/ ab = 1/12
  50*12 = a (50-a)

  on solving this we have

• as scientific calculators are allowed it was easy to find the reciprocal of the given four options, and the option which get (1/12) was the right one =D
