finding the 25th word if the word RANKED is arranged in dictionary order

• We arrange all letters alphabetically we start with ADEKNR
  So,AD****---->4!ways=24ways
  So 25th word is AEDKNR

• arranging d word ranked in alphabetical order it comes ADEKNR..fixing first 2 letter i.e AD_ _ _ _.no of words will be 4!.i.e 24..dat means 24 words r der starting with AD..den 25th word will be AEDKNR..now fixing AE_ _ _ _..we can get another 4! words..i.e 24..total no of words now 24+24=48..den 49th word must start with K..den 49th word comes AKDENR..(by swaping E&K)

• first suppose what will be the first word ADEKNR
  So the possible no. of words that will start with A----->5! =120 starting words will be first in dictionary
  but we need 25th words so after a smallest word is D now no of words starts with AD---- is 4!=24
  we need 25th word required word will not start with AD because AD will contain starting 24 numbers
  so what comes after D it's E
  So now 25 th word start with AR
  arrange the remaining in ascending order
