A no N is divided by D remainder 8, by3D remainder 21, then 2N divided by 3D, what is the remainder?????

  so n=Dx+8------->1
  n=3Dy+21--------->2
  from 1 & 2 D(x-3y)=13
  here 13 is prime number so it has factors 1 and 13 only
  x-3y must be 1
  let x=4 and y=1
  then n=60
  so 2n is divided that is 120 by 3D that is by 39 we get
  the remainder as 3

• here given, N/D=8 and N/3d=21 nw to find 2N/3D first find 3N/3D and subtract it vit N/3D...
  so u get 3N/3D= 24 (multiply N/D by 3) ... then 3N/3D - N/3D = 24 - 21 = 3..
  therefore 2N/3D =3....:)
