- truck A is taking 30% more fuel THAN truck B...
if B consumes 1 litre (for 19.5 miles), then A consumes 1.3 litre (for the same distance i.e 19.5 miles)...
A consumes 1.3lt for -->>19.5 miles
so,it will consume 10lt for-->> 19.5*10/1.3
i.e 150 miles

- At 50 mph, fuel consumed per litre = 1/19.5 ltrs
At 70 mph, fuel consumed per litre = 1.3/19.5= 1/15 ltrs
means 1 litre of fuel is reqd for 15 miles
hence with 10 ltrs of fuel, truck can travel 150 miles. - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(17) No(2)
- 19.5miles/llitre...in 10 litre it will cover 195 miles...so distance covered by first truck in 10 liter,,,,195-30%of 195=136.5~136 miles i think so
