two express trains started at the same time from two stations X and Y proceed towards each other at speeds of 75 mph and 45 mph respectively. when they met , it was found that one express train has travelled 340 miles more than the other.what is the distance between the two stations X and Y?

then other train will travel x+340
now from question
(x+340)/75=x/45
i.e x=510m
x+340=850
