- Let the digits on the first milestone be =10x+y.
Digits on the second milestone = 10y+x
Digits on the third milestone = 100x+y.
now as the speed is constant distance covered in 1 hour will be equal between 1st,2nd milestone AND 2nd,3rd milestone!!!
therefore, (100x+y)-(10y+x)=(10y+x)-(10x+y)
108x = 18 y
(x/y)=6/1
as x and y are single digit nos. , x=6 and y=1!!!!
now milestone are 16 , 61,106 ...speed =((61-16)/1)=45kmph - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(90) No(1)
- Answer is 45.
as first milestone shows 16
second milestone shows 61 (61-16=45)
third milestone shows 106 (106-61=45)
