how many 2's are there between 223 to 2222?

• in 1 to 999 there are 300 2s.and from 1000 to 1999 agian 300.and from 2000 to2222 there are 287and now we will sub 40 whic are from1 to 199...and now 25 also 200 t0 223 so ans is 823

  and from 201-300 there are 120 2's
  so from 223-300 there are 120-28=92 2's
  now from 301-1000 there are 7*20=140 2's
  now from 1000-2000 there are 300 2's
  now we left with 2001-2222
  now consider only thousands place there are 222 2's
  and from 000 to 222 there are 20+21+28=69 2's
  so total=92+140+300+222+69=823ans

• @ Rahul... there are 31 2s between 200 and 223.
  and 292 2s between 2000 and 2222.
  SO i think it's 821..Kindly rectify if Im wrong
