Read Solution (Total 7)
-
- sum of the roots= -b/a=6.
product of the roots=c/a=6.
a^2+b^2= (a+b)^2-2ab=6^-2*6=24. - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(58) No(5)
- sorry @Geetha u r right..
from formula.
-b+-sqrtb^2-4ac/2a..(1)
the eq is x^2-6x+6=0
then put value of a,b,c in eq 1..
then solve a=3+sqrt3 & b=3-sqrt3
then a^2+b^2 is 24.. - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(3) No(0)

- we solve this equation..then roots:-
a=3+sqrt2
b=3-sqrt2
then a^2+b^2 is 26... - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(11)
