1024,512 , a1,a2,a3.....,a8 is the series what is the a8 in the series if the second term is the arithmatic mean (avg )of the previous term ?
what is a8?

• question was somewhat different, in condition it was given ..consecutive terms arithmetic mean beyond the second term is second term. find a8?? exactly i am also not able to recall.
  (1024+512)/2=768=a1.
  (768+512)/2=640=a2.
  similarly will get a8.
  its answer is 682.

  2^1=2 will a8th term
  so a8=2

• here we have to take the mean average of 2nd term. so how could we take ( (1024+512)/2=768=a1))
