222^222 when divided by 7 leaves the remainder?
Read Solution (Total 10)
-
- 222^222
222/7=5remaindr
5^222=5^(2*111)
25^111 again divide 25 by 7
25/7=4remaindr
4^111
4^(3*37)
64^37
64/7=1remaindr
1^37=1
so remaindr is 1 - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(50) No(1)

- 2 is the ans bcoz if we devide 222 by 7 once it will give 5 remndr, now we got 5^222/7 so we can write it as 25^111/7 after this we will get 4^111/7 or 2^222/7 now 2^3 gives 1 remainder in this we can write (2^221)*(2)/7 as 221 divisibe by 3 so atlast we have 2/7 ans is 2.... i am sure...

- there is a property in these type of questions that take last two digits if 345^456 then dnt see power only see the last two digit of number ie 45 and 45 is divisible by 7 hence remainder is 0.in dis question 22 and division by 7 gives 1 remainder..

- 222^222
when 222 is divided by 7 remainder is 5.
then it became 5^222=(5^6)37
and 5^6 is 15625 which when divided by 7 leaves remainder 1
hence it became (1)^37 which is equal to 1
therefore answer is 1. - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(3) No(0)

- the answer is 4.. if u take 222/7 then remainder is 5.
thus 5^7 is to be evaluated. now the cycle of 5^n divided by 7 repeats 5 times. thus 222/5 gives remainder 2. thus remainder in 5^2 divided by 7 is the answer - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(0)
