When a number divided by D leaves remainder of 8 and when by 3D leaves remainder of 21.what is the remainder left,when twice the number is divided by 3D.

now, N=DQ+8 ..(1)
N=3DQ'+21 ...(2)
now as we multiply the (1) by 3 and subtract it from (2) we would get
2N=3D(Q-Q')+3
