If A, B and C can do a piece of work in 10,12 and 15 days respectively. If they work together and A leaves after 2 days then B & C takes how many extra days to complete the work.

Work done by all 3 in 2 days will be:
= 2/10 + 2/12 + 2/15
=1/2 work
So, Work left uncompleted = 1-1/2 = 1/2 work

So,
1 day work of B & C = 1/12 + 1/15 = 3/20 work
As, 3/20 work is completed in 1 day
So, 1/2 work will be completed in days = 20/3 * 1/2
= 10/3, or
