a 20ltr solution contains oil mand kerosene in the ratio 3:5. if 4lts of themixture is replaced with 4lts of kerosene .what will be the ratio of oil and kerosene?

kerosene=12.5
4 litre mixture is replace i.e=1.5 oil and 2.5 kerosene
so 6=oil
10 =kerosene remaining
now 4 litre kerosene added

there will be no change in ratio after removing 4 ltr.,
still ratio is 3:5 in 16 ltr
change occur when 4 ltr kerosene added then
ratio=3x:5x+4
now 3x+5x+4=20, x=2
