probability of getting a total of atleast 5 when 2 dice are thrown

  now correct solution-----
  first tatal ways of outcomes = 36
  now we have two ways to calculate a total of atleast 5:
  1. either calculate all outcomes whose some is either eqaual to or greater than
  five.
  2. calculate all outcomes whose some is less than 5 and subtract from 36
  
  so 2nd one is easy
  tatal outcomes = less than five = (1,3),(3,1),(2,2,),(1,2),(2,1),(1,1)
  = 6 outcomes
  for atleast five = 36 - 6 = 30
  so probability of outcomes atleast five= 30/36 =5/6 ans

  atleast 5 means we can get the sum as 5 or more than 5
  hence for easy calculation we can find the sum where we cant get 5 and subtract it from 1 which is the total probability
  outcomes where we dont get a 5 is (1,1)(1,2)(1,3)(2,1)(2,2)(3,1)= 6 outcomes
  =>1-(6/36)=1-(1/6)
  =5/6 (ans)

  so probability of getting at least 5=1-(probability of not getting at least 5)
  That means we need to find probability of getting 1 or 2 or 3 or 4.
  for 2 (1,1)
  for 3 (1,2),(2,1)
  for 4 (1,3),(3,1),(2,2)
  total cases=6
  so probability of getting at least 5 = 1-(6/36) = 5/6

  so probability=30/36=5/6
