- 350000
If x copies are to be made, then
0.5x + 15000 = 0.7x+8000
0.2x = 7000
x= 100*7000/2= 350000 - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(18) No(15)
- someone plz explain this
- 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(1)
- profit = s.p - c.p
let x be the no. of copies sold.
s.p = .50x
c.p = (.70x - 15000)
each copies is cost to them is for rs. 0.70x
but 15,000 has been subtracted because they have received it
as an advertisement money (consider it as donation)
hence
profit = 8000
8000 = .50x - (.70x - 15000)
x = 35000 - 7 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(0)

- Copy is sold at loss =0.70-0.50=0.20
Even then a profit of 8000 is made.
Let N be no. of copies.
Therefore,
(N*0.2)+8000=15000
N*0.20=7000
N=35000
So 35000 copies sold - 8 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
