- in total there are 7 balls. so 1st we draw 1 red ball from 7 balls in which we have 3 red balls. so the probablity is 3/7. then without putting it in the basket we will again draw a red ball. now we have total 6 balls left with 2 red balls. so probablity is 3/7 * 2/6. same with the 3rd ball. hence we get,
3/7 * 2/6 * 1/5 = 1/35 - 14 years agoHelpfull: Yes(10) No(2)
- Total balls 3+4=7
7c(how many balls draw)i.e.
7c3=35
then only "3 red balls" probability is 3c3=1
so answer is 1/35

as there are only 3 red balls and simultanously one once they can be removed - 14 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(13)
- let the age of ist brother =x therefore age of 2nd brother =x-3 after 6 yr age of 1st x+6......(1)
age of 2nd x-3+6=x+3......(2)
dividing 1/2 we have x+6/x+3=9/8
after solving we get x=21 and x-3 i.e 21-3=18 yr - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(1)
- the probablity of getting the 3 red balls simultaneously are =3/7*2/6*1/5 which is equals to 1/35 so ans is 1/35.
