- in family there r 4boye n 3 girls are there.
lets explain
boys except themselves has three brothers n three sisters means that is equal..bcoz when we count brothers we dont count our selves.
in casee of girls every girl has 2 sisters n four brothers ,so each girl has twice no of brothers than sisters.....

- let there r b boys and g no of gals
so,when the boy is counting,then b-1=g
when the gal is counting, then b=2(g-1)
so,solving above 2 eqn,we get g=3 and b=4.. - 13 years agoHelpfull: Yes(15) No(0)
- Suppose b be d no of boys n g no of girls
when boys told dey r nt including demselves so
b-1=g
similarly for girls
2(g-1)=b
Solving both eqns we get
no of girls=3 n no of boys=4 - 13 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(0)
- Total number of boys = 4
Total number of girls = 3
Each boy will have 3 brothers and 3 sisters (equal in number)
Each girl will have 2 sisters and 4 brothers (brothers = 2* sisters) - 13 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(0)
- no. of boys be B and girls be G.so acccording to given problem B-1=G and 2(G-1)=B.So 2G-3=G on solving G=3 and B=4
