Q. A man covered a certain distance at some speed.
If he had moved 3km/h faster, he would have taken 40 minutes less.
If he would have moved 2km/h slower, he would have taken 40 minutes more
Calculate the distance in kms

then distance d=s*t
therefore s*t=(s+3)(t-40/60)
=> 18t-4s=12
and s*t=(s-2)(t+40/60)
=> -12t+4s=8
solving both eqn
we get t=20/6
and s=12
so d=20/6*12=40
