3 men and 4 women do a work in 10 days as 2 men and 6 women do. 4 men and 8 women starts the same work and after 2 days only women remains in the work for completing it. How many days are required to complete the work.

- (3 men work + 4 women work ) 10 days = (2 men work + 6 women work ) 10 days 3 men + 4 women = 2 men + 6 women
1 men = 2 women So, total work in case of women is
(3*2 + 4) * 10 = 100 women work. Thus

- From given problem we get the equations 3m+4w=1/10.........(1)
2m+6w=1/10.......(2) by solving both we get m=1/50 and w=1/100
so 4men and 8 women 1 day work =16/100 but they bth wrk togethr fr 2 days so 2 days wrk=32/100
remaining wrk=68/100 has to be done by 8 women in 8.5 days
