Using 2 consecutive positive even numbers..
x+x+2=1998
x=998
so 998+1000=1998
Using 3 consecutive positive even numbers .
x+x+2+x+4=1998
x=664
so 664+666+668=1998.
Using 6 consecutive positive even numbers .
x+x+2+x+4+x+6+x+8+x+10=1998
x=328
so 328+330+332+334+336+338=1998
similarly using 9 consecutive positive even numbers .
we get x=214
using 18 consecutive positive even numbers .
we get x=94
using 27 consecutive positive even numbers .
we get x=48
using 37 consecutive positive even numbers .
we get x=18
