A ferris wheel with radius 25m makes one rotation in 36secs. At the bottom of the ride the height of passenger is 1m above ground. Find the height of passenger at 45 secs.
Read Solution (Total 1)
-
- The Ferris wheel rotates 1 rotation (360 degree) = 36 secs
Then the height of the passenger is 1mt above the ground
The Passenger is at 45 sec i.e., 450 degree
i.e., 450 = 360 + 90
Therefore at 90 degree, the height of the passenger = radius of the Ferris wheel + 1mt above the ground.
Therefore, the height of the passenger = 25 + 1 = 26mts. - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
