In an exam, there were 25 math qns and 75 nonmath qns. To answer a math qn, a candidate was supposed to spend twice the time he spends to answer a nonmath qn. If the entire exam duration was 2 hrs, find the time he spent on the math qns.

  If this '0.96 minutes' is converted into seconds then it equals to

  For each maths qn we have to spend
  '57.6 second' then for 25 questions, it is
  25 * (2*57.6) = 2880(seconds). (as mentioned above '25*2x' )
