In a race of 200 m. A can beat B by 15 m and C by 19 m then how much time C would take To beat B in the race of 3700 m ?

  than in 3700m race B beats by C,3700- (181/185)*3700=80

  but if replace C by B in question part..
  ans would be 74 mt..
  as in this case C will lead B by 4 mt in every 200 mt..
  and for 3600 mt C take lead of 72 mt
  in last 100 C lead by 2 mt..

  we can also write C:B as C/A * A/B which is equivalent to 181/200 * 200/185 which is equal to3620
  hence B beat C by 3700-3620=80m

  It would be How much time B would take to beat C ?
  A : B = 200 :185
  A : C = 200 :181
  B : C = 185/200 * 181/200
  B : C = 185 : 181
  When B covers 185 m , C covers 181 m.
  When B covers 3700 m, C covers (181/185)*3700 = 3620 m.
  Therefore, B beats C by (3700 - 3620) m = 80 m.
