description about the murderer...
witness A-murderer had blue eyes,he was tall,he wore a hat and vest.
witness B-murderer had black eyes,he was short,he wore a hat and vest
witness C-murderer had brown eyes,he was Medium sized,he wore a hat and raincoat
witness D-murderer had grey eyes,he was tall,he didnt wear a hat and he wore a
vest.

Each one of them gave exactly one fact correct.Describe the murderer in terms of eyes,height,hat,vest and raincoat.

• As everyone gave exactly one fact correct, so it is clear that the murderer didnt wear a hat because three of witness saying that he wore a hat and if it is true, we cant deduce other traits of the murderer.

  from witness D we get =Murderer didn't wear a hat , he didn't have grey eyes,he was not tall, and he didn't wear a vest.
  from witness C=Murderer wore a raincoat, as it is cleared that he didn't wear a vest from witness D.
  from witness B=Murderer was short as he was not tall from witness D and not medium from witness C.
  from witness A=Murderer had blue eyes as all others details are already deduced.
