ashwin after travelled 150 km towards north instead of taking right turn he has taken a wrong turn and travelled towards north east about 100km. Then he turned towards south and travelled about 230 km. How far is he from his starting point

• he travelled 150 km north and 100 km noth east
  again he travelled 230 km towords south
  so,230-150=80
  it forms rectangle and triangle
  a2+b2=c2
  c2=(100)2
  b2=(80)2
  sub in above equation
  we ll get a=60

  so, 230-150=80
  then we use Pythagoras theorem
  100^2=B^2+80^2
  B^2=10000-6400
  B^2=3600
  B=60km
  Hence he is 60km far from the starting position.

  which means 100 km is the hypotenuse and then he travelled 230 km in south ward direction.
  so apply the concept of pythagoras theorem .....then you will get the answer 60 km.
  so 60 km is the correct answer from their starting point
