In how many ways can 2310 can be expressed as product of 3 factors??
Read Solution (Total 10)
-
- factors=2*3*5*7*11
a+b+c=1====> [1+3-1]C(3-1)=3
so ans is 3*3*3*3*3=243 - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(8) No(1)
- factors of 2310=2x3x5x7x11. number of factors is the sum of the powers +1... so, number of factors is 2^5=32. so there are 32/3=10 ways in which we can represent the number as a product of 3 factors

- The prime factore of 2310 is 2^1*3^1*5^1*7^1*11^1..there is a direct formula (3^n-1 +1)/2 here n is no of distinct prime no.
So here n=5 so answer is 41..if u want explanation then i can provide u. - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(4)
- @SUMIT KUMAR please give the explanation for (3^n-1 +1)/2

- @BALRAM SHARMA you can solve it another way also..
prime factor of 2310 is 2^1*3^1*5^1*7^1*11^1.
we have to make product of three factor then think as
we fix 1 _ _ 16 ways(by rule of factor in product of two)
2 _ _ 8-1=7(because one product will also present above)
3 _ _ 8-2=6
4 _ _8-3=5
7 _ _8-4=4
11 _ _8-5=3
add all we get 41. - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(1)
- ans is 15

- Ans is 9

- 2310=2x3x5x7x11 (all prime)
Total no of factors should be 3, so we have to select 3 nos. from 5 and combine them together. Rest 2 will be the other factors. And we can select 3 nos. from 5 in 5C3 i.e. 10 ways.
So answer will be 10 ways. - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(1)
- (5C3)+ (5C2*3C2)=40
