(A) Rs 5000 (B) Rs 4500 (C) Rs 4000 (D) Rs 4400
Read Solution (Total 3)
-
- net discount=20+15-(20*15)/100=32%
let mp=x
then,
x-0.32x=3060
0.68x=3060
x=3060/0.68=4500
thus mark price of the article is Rs 4500 - 8 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(0)
- x*80/100*85/100=3060
ans=4000 - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(0)
- Let x be the amount before allowing 15% discount so
x - (15x÷100) = 3060
85x÷100 = 3060
x = 306000 ÷ 85
x = 3600
Now let y be the amount before allowing 20% discount
So,
y - (20y÷100) = 3600
80y÷100 = 3600
y = 360000 ÷ 80
y = 4500
So , 4500 is the answer - 8 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(1)
