Do any1 remember d question of TSD of 11 nov 2015.... how to solve dt one?
two trains with speeds of 60,65 kmph running in opposite direction.. distance between them is 19 or 21 km(i dnt remember)... at what distance from the train B will the two trains meet for second time?
Read Solution (Total 3)

- suppose we take distance between them as 20km. So, total time taken to meet the two trains twice is 2*(20/125) ( as distance= speed * time). So, train B can travel distance = 65 * (40/125) = 2.8 KM

- Speed required to travel in future is _______.
- 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(2)
- Lets take the distance between A and B as 20 km. So, the first time two trains will meet at time t1=(20/125)= 0.16 hour. So, the train with speed 65km/hr have covered = 10.4 km and train with speed 60km/hr = 9.6km.
Train with speed 65km/hr can cover remaining 9.6 km in 0.15 hr and train with speed 60km/hr can cover remaining 10.4 km in 0.17hr. so the difference is 0.02 hour. In 0.02 hr the train with speed 65 km/hr can cover 1.3km. So, (20-1.3)= 18.7 km. Now the to train ill again meet at time t2= (18.7/125)=0.15hour. So, we consider that train with speed 60km/hr is traveling from B to A in second round then the distance covered from B is = (65*0.15) = 9.7 km. - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
