- I think ans is 2.let no of marble be x
After 1 game marble =x/2
In 2 game 11*x/2
In third 9
So total he have 21 in end adding all equating
9+11x/2+x/2=42
Ans 2 - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(14) No(2)
- Let initially he has x marble
At the end of 1 game marbel he has=x/2
At end of 2nd game, marble he has=x/2 + 11x/2 = 6x
Afte 3rd game marbel he has= 6x+9
So equating we have
6x+9=21
X=2

- from the options we can verify easily.....
2/2=1.............................................. lost half of his marbles
1+(1*11)=12................................... won 11times what he had in 1st game
12+9=21............................................. won 9 marbles more - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
- Answer is option (d) - 2.
let initially I have 2 marbles then,
after 1st game - 1 is remaining
after 2nd game- 1+11*1=12 total
after 3rd game- 12+9 = 21 total is remaining which is equal to 21 marbles as per question...hope it is easy to get - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
- Guys it was 21 only by mistake I write it 42

- let there be x marble initially after 1st game he left with x/2
in second game he wn 11time so ans be x2+11*x/2=6x
in third game he won 9 marbel so 6x+9=21=2 ans - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(1)
- Let x be the initial ni of marbles. In 1st game he lost half, so he has x/2 with him. In the second game he won 11 times of what he had in 1st ,I.e. 11x/2, in 3rd he win 9. So eq will be (x/2)+(11x/2)+9=21.
So ans is 2 - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
