the diagnal of a square field is 266.66(i dont remember exact value), then find the area of a square.

a.2*10^4
b.2^2*10^4
two more oPtions i dont remember.

if any one know exact question Please Post the question and answer for the same.

• the diagonal was 200 and area of square was asked and the correct answer was 2*10^4

  area=(1/2)*diagonal^2
  hence area=20000
  i.e 2*10^4

  area = a^2 ==> (200/sqrt(2)) ^2 ==>200*200/2 ==> 2*10^4

• it was diagonal of square not square field

  =1/2(40000)
  =20000
