- Let the CP of milk be rs 1/litre
milk in 1litre mixture of A= 7/10 L ; CP of 1L mix. in A =7/10
milk in 1L mix. of B= 3/5 L ; CP of 1L mix. in B = 3/5
milk in 1L mix. of C= 2/3 L ; Mean price =2/3
By rule of alligation
Required ratio= (CP of 1L mix. in B - mean price)/ (mean price - CP of 1L mix. in A)
= (3/5-2/3)/(2/3-7/10)
=(-1/15)/(-1/30)
=2:1 (ans)
