  Perimeter of equilateral triangle = 3*a;
  length of one median =sqrt(a^2-(a/2)^2)=2a*sqrt(3);
  sum of medians=3*2a*sqrt(3);
  therefore ratio= (3*a):(3*2a*sqrt(3))=2:sqrt(3);
